BREAKING NEWS: – NEW SEARCH IN ASHA DEGREE CASE The investigation into the case of missing Asha Degree – “Shelby’s Sweetheart” – took another turn today as law enforcement began searching the abandoned North Brook School at the intersection of Highway 182 and 274 in Cherryville, North Carolina. Local reports indicate a presence of around 30 officers, and photographs show an excavator on the property. The property was owned by segregationist horse-torturer and suspect Roy Dedmon and his wife Connie at the time Asha went missing in February 2000. Now for a visit to our friends down under for the story of 24 year old Toyah Cordingley who was found dead on Wangetti Beach, after taking her dog for a walk on 22nd October 2018. Toyah was stabbed at least 26 times in what was called a “frenzied, brutal and sadistic” attack. Her body was found half buried in the sand dunes by her father. Rajwinder Singh, 40, a former hospital nurse fled to India just hours after Toyah’s body was discovered, leaving behind his wife and three children. On February 14th 2000, 9-year-old Asha Degree left her home in Shelby, North Carolina in the middle of the night. She was seen by three drivers walking along a nearby road, and some of her belongings were found in a barn – but Asha has never been seen since.
