Asha Degree Breaking News!

BREAKING NEWS: – NEW SEARCH IN ASHA DEGREE CASE

The investigation into the case of missing Asha Degree – “Shelby’s Sweetheart” – took another turn today as law enforcement began searching the abandoned North Brook School at the intersection of Highway 182 and 274 in Cherryville, North Carolina.

Local reports indicate a presence of around 30 officers, and photographs show an excavator on the property.

The property was owned by segregationist horse-torturer and suspect Roy Dedmon and his wife Connie at the time Asha went missing in February 2000. They sold the property in October 2004, and local law enforcement have clarified that the search is not related to the current owner, who gave consent for the search.

The Dedmon family, including daughters Lizzie, Sarah and AnnaLee have been named in search warrants in the case. A witness, Thad Mellentine, has also come forward and said that Lizzie confessed to killing Asha in the early 2000s.

We hope that this search will lead to long-awaited answers for the Degree family, and justice for Asha.
