Ethan Saylor
On January 12th 2013 Ethan Saylor went to watch “Zero Dark Thirty” with his carer. He never came home. We remember him today on World Down Syndrome Day. Robert Ethan Saylor, known as Ethan, was 26 years old, and lived in Frederick, Maryland. His family writes “He was a brother, son, grandson, and beloved family member and friend. He was a faithful church member. He loved reggae music and was a law enforcement enthusiast. He also had Down syndrome.” After watching the film, Ethan’s carer left to bring the car around. Ethan waited briefly by the door for her to return, before re-entering the movie theater. The theater manager informed…

Ellen Rae Greenberg & Sam Goldberg
On January 26th, 2011, 27-year-old teacher Ellen Rae Greenberg was found dead in her Philadelphia apartment with 20 stab wounds to her chest, scalp and the back of her neck. When police arrived on the scene, they quickly concluded that Ellen died by suicide. Her fiancé, Sam Goldberg, told them that Ellen had been fine when he went to the gym at around 4.45pm – but when he returned at 5.30 he couldn’t open the door, and she wasn’t answering his calls or texts. He finally broke the door down at 6.30, and found Ellen’s body right there. The latched front door, and Ellen’s recent struggle with anxiety, were enough…

Jermaine Bass
On August 29th, 2022, Jaylah Lavia’h Bass and JJ Bass were shot in their bed with a gun belonging to their parents, Shirley and Jermaine Bass. As sheriff’s deputies arrived and administered medical care to the children, Jermaine insisted that his gun had gone off as he changed the magazine in their bedroom. 5 shots were fired – 4 of them into the heads of his children. JJ screamed in pain, yelling “ow, my head!” – but somehow he survived. Tragically, after being shot “in the centre of her forehead”, 5-year-old Jaylah did not. Today the murder trial of FL v. Jermaine Bass began, with Bass facing charges of first-degree…

Shortly afterwards she was found in Kingsley Pond, just yards from her home, and tragically died in hospital the next day. Her mother, Alice Mackey, was held on suspicion of her murder, and according to some reports was further held under the Mental Health Act. Neighbours said that Annabel enjoyed looking at their Halloween decorations and walking with her mother: “We’ve met her, we always said hello, she used to say hi. She was gorgeous, she was a…

Casey Anthony a Legal Advocate?
Casey Anthony, who faced trial for the death of her daughter Caylee Anthony in 2011 and was acquitted, has returned to the internet as a Legal Advocate. Her first post generated so many views, and a ton of engagement and anger throughout the true crime community. You see while acquitted of the murder of her young daughter, Caylee, it is the opinion of many that Casey was indeed involved in the death of her daughter. Based on the evidence, it is our opinion too. On June 16th, 2008 Casey Anthony left her parents home, where she and Caylee resided, with Caylee. She told her mother Cindy Anthony that she was…

Bridge Guy Video Released
Abby Williams and Libby German were murdered on February 13th 2017 in Delphi, Indiana. Their bodies were found the following day near the Monon High Bridge Trail, which is part of the Delphi Historic Trails. The murders were reported on extensively world wide, partially because of video footage taken by the girls on Libby’s phone that captured the killer saying “down the hill”. The image of the man ordering the girls to their death was published for the world to see, as was the clip of his voice. But the whole video remained protected for two reasons – one to protect the case, and two, to protect the families of…

Adnan Syed
After 25 years, two trials, a hit podcast, having his conviction overturned, then reinstated, then overturned again and reinstated again, Adnan Syed, the unrepentant murderer of Hae Min Lee, walked out of court a free man. Syed was initially released from prison in September 2022, after then State’s Attorney (now convicted felon) Marilyn Mosby formed a bizarre alliance with the Innocence Project to vacate his conviction. Many pieces of supposedly new evidence were put forward in support of the Motion to Vacate, including a handwritten note from prosecutor Kevin Urick which detailed a conversation with Salma Ahmed, the then-wife of Syed’s mentor (and now convicted rapist) Bilal Ahmed. In this…

Kyle Clifford – Sentenced to Whole Life Order
Triple murderer and rapist Kyle Clifford was sentenced to a whole-life order today, for the brutal killings of Louise, Hannah and Carol Hunt in July last year. Clifford pled guilty to the murders but refused to admit raping his ex-girlfriend Louise during the attack – forcing the grieving family and friends of his victims to endure his trial, despite refusing to attend himself. After a brief trial the jury deliberated for less than an hour before finding Clifford guilty of rape. The evidence clearly proved that he planned the attack days in advance, purchasing a butcher’s knife and a crossbow while watching videos of misogynist “influencer” Andrew Tate. During his…

The Crossbow Killer
Kyle Clifford, the “Crossbow Killer” of Louise Hunt, her sister Hannah and mother Carol, has been convicted this week of raping Louise as part of his rampage. Louise had been dating Clifford for 18 months, but just days before she was murdered she ended the relationship, telling him it was “sucking the life out of [her]”. She made a note on her phone 5 days before she was murdered, saying Clifford was “racist”, had “commented he did not like transgender people” and had used “belittling language”. MailOnline quotes an unnamed family friend as saying “Kyle was controlling and used to ridicule Louise … [Louise was] being controlled all the time”.…
