Casey Anthony a Legal Advocate?

Casey Anthony, who faced trial for the death of her daughter Caylee Anthony in 2011 and was acquitted, has returned to the internet as a Legal Advocate.  Her first post generated so many views, and a ton of engagement and anger throughout the true crime community.  You see while acquitted of the murder of her young daughter, Caylee, it is the opinion of many that Casey was indeed involved in the death of her daughter.  Based on the evidence, it is our opinion too.

On June 16th, 2008 Casey Anthony left her parents home, where she and Caylee resided, with Caylee.  She told her mother Cindy Anthony that she was taking her to her Nanny Zenaida “Zanny” Fernandez-Gonzalez and that the three of them were going on a “work trip” to Tampa, Florida.

Thirty days later, Casey’s car was discovered, abandoned, in Orlando Florida, and towed away and impounded.  Her parents were made aware that her car was impounded, and George Anthony, Casey’s father, went to collect it only to find there was a strong smell coming from the trunk of the car, that both he and his wife would later state smelled like human decomposition.

On July 15th 2008 Caylee Anthony was reported missing by her maternal grandmother Cindy Anthony who told the 911 dispatcher that she had not seen Caylee, who lived in her home, for 31 days.  Casey had given varied explanations for Caylee’s whereabouts before eventually confessing she had not seen her child for weeks.  Casey would later contact the police and claim her daughter had been abducted by a nanny, “Zanny” the nanny to be exact.

Casey then led police officers up the garden path and back again with lie after lie, as they found more and more evidence to show Casey Anthony had spent the last month living it up, partying and staying with her then boyfriend. When police turned up at the address given for “Zanny” the nanny police found it had been vacant for 140 days, and in fact the nanny did not exist.

In October Casey Anthony was charged with First Degree Murder of her daughter, Caylee Anthony.

Caylee’s remains were discovered on December 11th 2008 after Roy Krone called police after discovering that calls he made to the police back in August after finding a skull and grey trash bag while doing his job, meter reading.  Police did discover a child’s skull with duct tape attached to the hair still attached to the skull.  Then they found more bones over the next four days.  These remains were that of Caylee Anthony, not far from the Anthony residence.  Caylee’s death was ruled a homicide and her cause of death was undetermined.

Casey claims to want to work with the LGBTQ+ community and women.  But it is illegal to issue legal advice in Florida without a bar card (being a member of the Florida state Bar), so something tells us that Casey won’t be doing any advocating anytime soon.
